The TRX® training concept is based on the use of gravity against the individual’s own body weight to simultaneously develop strength, balance, flexibility, core stability, and cardiovascular development. The TRX® equipment is attached to an anchor point. Handles and foot cradles are attached to each set of TRX® straps. Each participant then holds the handles with their hands or inserts their feet in the foot cradles, depending on the type of exercise to be completed. It is a simple matter to change the length of the straps and/or the angle of the student’s body to the floor, in order to vary the form and degree of difficulty associated with a particular exercise.
