Group/Private Reformer Pilates:

With countless exercises, our Group Reformer classes always feel fresh and new! Experience a full body workout designed with a deliberate pace to challenge your core strength, agility and flexibility.  

Reformer I: For the beginner student in Pilates. Stretch and discover muscles to that will help increase mobility, strengthen the core along with other large and small muscle groups.

Reformer I/II: Beginner/intermediate level Reformer. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to add to your workout routine, this class will challenge your strength flexibility and mobility.

Reformer II: For the intermediate student who has experienced the pre-pilates principles and basic movement patterns and is ready for more.

Reformer III: Our most advanced Reformer class that is tailored for each Pilates student. Covering the total body with challenging exercises. Please seek instructor approval for this level.

Interval Circuit Reformer II:  Combines the Reformer with high intensity interval training, this class is for the Pilates student seeking drastic change. This class is for the advanced Pilates student and must have at least 1 year of experience. Please seek instructor permission before booking.

 

We also have classes for men:

Real Men do Pilates… And pull-ups, push-ups and a whole lot more! This energetic class uses all of the Balanced Body apparatus and will hit every muscle in your body! You will certainly leave a New Man!

We highly recommend trying out a Private Reformer session before joining a group to learn the fundamentals of the Pilates Method. Your first Private session is complimentary!

Chair/Tower Pilates:

Using two pieces of apparatus – the Wonda Chair and Balanced Body Tower, our Chair/Tower c!asses will challenge your core help create long, lean muscle and give you that feeling of being 2 inches taller.

Chair/Tower I/II: For the beginner/intermediate Pilates student. This class will keep you guessing with hundreds of exercises on both the EXO chair and Balanced tower.

Chair/Tower II: For the intermediate Pilates student with exercises that will make you feel the burn and feeling strong and long.

Chair/Tower III: For the most advanced Pilates student. Instructor permission needed for this class.

 

Mat Pilates:

Looking for a great way to improve posture and build core strength? Our dynamic mat classes use body weight and small props such as rollers, stretch bands and Pilates rings. Mat classes are great place to start your Pilates journey or continue strengthening at any level!

Woodstock Mat Classes meet on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Fridays 10:30 a.m. and Saturdays at 9:30 a.m.

Roswell Mat classes are held on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 9:00 a.m.

Absolute Pilates Barre

Looking for a a little more cardio/fat burn? Our unique barre classes incorporate low impact, fat burning moves that will give you that “burn so good” feeling. Each move is set to the rhythm of high energy music to make the class fun while also challenging. Our classes are set apart from other studios because no class is the same – every time your body will experience something different and to change your body in amazing ways! Great for any level.

TRX® Suspension Training®

As part of our holistic approach to wellness, our TRX® classes may include other exercise disciplines (e.g. Kettle Bell, Pilates, etc.). This type of circuit training can provide additional challenges and enjoyment for the student. TRX® Suspension Training® is a revolutionary total-body fitness program, originally developed by
Navy Seals to facilitate total body workouts within a relatively small space.  If you want a total body work out in Woodstock, Canton, Holly Springs, Roswell, Milton, Alpharetta, Johns Creek or surrounding areas, come try TRX® at Absolute Pilates!

The TRX® training concept is based on the use of gravity against the individual’s own body weight to simultaneously develop strength, balance, flexibility, core stability, and cardiovascular development. The TRX® equipment is attached to an anchor point.  Handles and foot cradles are attached to each set of TRX® straps.  Each participant then holds the handles with their hands or inserts their feet in the foot cradles, depending on the type of exercise to be completed.  It is a simple matter to change the length of the straps and/or the angle of the student’s body to the floor, in order to vary the form and degree of difficulty associated with a particular exercise.
